Tanah Lot Already CHSE Certified

Tanah Lot Already CHSE Certified

Entering the New Normal period since it opened on July 20, 2020, Tanah Lot has implemented a health protocol that has been certified by the Tabanan Regency Government. Entering 2021, which is famous with its beautiful sunset and nature as well as the magical power of the temple in the middle of the sea, has again boosted its health protocol by obtaining a CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability Standards) certificate from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. The goal is to restore the trust of tourists to return to travel. Apart from that, the CHSE-based wellness protocol is also to ensure the safety and comfort of the tourists. Thus, they can enjoy their holidays safely and comfortably.

"We have been open since last July 20. Tanah Lot  has also received certification from the Tabanan Regency Government as a tourist destination that is safe and worth visiting," said Wayan Sudiana as the current Operational Manager of Tanah Lot.

The things that are carried out as the implementation of the CHSE procedure are measuring body temperature, the obligation of tourists to wash their hands, providing hand sanitizers at each entry point, to spraying disinfectants regularly. Although this procedure was routinely carried out, currently the manager is trying to further improve supervision and periodic checks so that all stake holders are disciplined in its application.

"We have also provided sinks and hand sanitizers at strategic posts to the beach area. Our officers in the field routinely carry out surveillance. Although it is very rare to find stubborn tourists, sometimes there are tourists who wear masks wrongly or unconsciously flock to We usually approach things like that and give understanding. Apart from that, we routinely appeal through loudspeakers in the parking lot and on the beach as well. Because we want tourists who visit to always feel safe and comfortable while in the area, "he added. Hopefully tourism can gradually recover with the opening of international flights so that the economy can also revive and recover, "he concluded.
