Mandarin Language Training at Tanah Lot
The Tourism Confucius Institute (TCI) of Udayana University provides assistance through Mandarin language training in order to strengthen local human resources for tourism in the tourist attraction (DTW) Tanah Lot, Tabanan, Bali. This mentoring activity is carried out for a month starting from October 8, 2021 to November 5, 2021.
The training was attended by 30 people from various divisions under the management of Tanah Lot. This activity is carried out for 1 full month with the distribution of training schedules 2 times a week with a training time of one and a half hours centered in the wantilan around Tanah Lot.
Drs. I Made Sendra, M.Si as the Indonesian Director of TCI Udayana University in his release stated, the Mandarin language training considering the number of tourist arrivals from China who visited Tanah Lot DTW was very high before the Covid-19 pandemic. "Hopefully, with the opening of international tourism which has been carried out on October 14, 2021, it will be a hope to restore the world of tourism in Bali in general and in DTW Tanah Lot in particular," he said.
Meanwhile, the Operations Manager of Tanah Lot, represented by I Made Agustika, SE (Head of the Personnel Division of DTW Tanah Lot) said that the Mandarin language training was highly anticipated because this training was certainly very beneficial for improving the quality of service to staff at Tanah Lot.
At the end of this activity, the process of making videos about Tanah Lot information was carried out using Mandarin, played by the Chinese training participants.
